Do you want to learn how to make two Clay Collection tea cups? There is space for maximum 4 persons per workshop. During this workshop you learn the basics of slip casting with stoneware and to work with wild clay. You mix the wild clay yourself and choose the colors and structures based on samples to form a beautiful set of tea cups.
In this workshop you will make a set of two tea cups from the Clay Collection. After a small introduction about the concept of the Clay Collection and the process from model to product, we will start on the slipcasting proces. There are two plaster molds available for each person that participates.
Because the products do not come out of the mold immediately, everyone gets 2 tea cups that have already been casted and are ready to be worked on with wild clay. You mix and apply the wild clay yourself to make a beautiful set of tea cups.
After the workshop your products will be glazed and fired.
